This category will also have a positive impact on recruitment efforts as it aims to encourage more companies and organisations to develop progressive and flexible employment practices that embrace diversity, innovation and knowledge transfer

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Demonstration that the nominee/s played a key role in the inventive steps that lead to the invention/innovation

More than one woman can be nominated for her part in the same invention/innovation provided each persons contribution is made clear. 

Commercial potential
Market potential
Financial viability
Originality, inventiveness, novelty, simplicity, technical competence, effectiveness, use of materials
Evidence of the practicality of the invention, clarity of presentation and a succinct description in the invention.
